Plymouth-White Rabbit
We were supposed to leave Chelt at half 11.It was a slightly longer journey today and I bloody forgot the CD's so I had to go back and get em.So,we left about 12ish instead.
During the night I decided the van was no longer to be known as "The Van".From now on it was "The Chopper".That way,we could shout "Get to the Chopper!" in an Arnie voice and Matt could call in "The Chopper" for a "Hot Extract" instead of super disco load outs.The lads agreed.
We stopped off at a services for some food and I got us a chess board.It turns out a few of us can play so Cleaver challenges me to a game.Good game too but it ended in a stalemate .The extreme tour chess championship had begun.It's called "extreme" because you never wear a seat belt whilst playing.

We got to the venue and loaded in in the intense heat.Me n Bison needed some water so we asked the guy for a couple of pints.There really is nothing like drinking warm water on a hot summers day.We looked at each other and nearly spat it everywhere.
Anyway,back to setting up and one of the tom holders on the kit fucks up.So after a stressful few moments of trying to fix it,me and Cleaver make a floor tom holder out of a spare snare stand and cymbal stand that just about does the job.
Sound check done,time for a quick kip before doors.

It was a hot n sweaty gig tonight.We had a blast again and all the bands yet again were awesome.Unfortunately the singer of Mad Hatter 2.0 overheated and had to sit out of the last couple of songs.But he was ok in the end.

No "Hot Extract" tonight but we loaded up pretty quick and headed for the hotel.We had to leave early in the morning so we wanted to get our heads down.

We got to the hotel and the doors were locked with no-one about.We were banging the doors,trying to pop the lock but nothing.It took an hour before we managed to spot someone inside and get them to let us in.After getting some extra bedding we got our heads down and got some sleep.8am start tomorrow.Journey home and a few days off.
We dropped Pilko at the train station and made it back about 13:00ish. I went to work at 15:00.
